Introducing Our New Board Member
Kanabec Hospital is pleased to announce an addition to its governing Board of Directors. Mr. Paul Kent of Mora joined the Hospital Board, beginning his official duties on Wednesday, January 20, 2010. Kent is a life long citizen of Kanabec County and a graduate of Mora High school who is deeply committed to the success and growth of the Hospital.
Kent is the owner and operator of Paul Kent Dairy located in Kanabec County. Kent has previously served on two Fortune 500 company boards (Land O’ Lakes and M.S.I. insurance). During his years of service with the Land O’ Lakes board he has held many leadership positions including: vice-chair of the dairy committee, a member of the executive committee, as well as holding the position of Secretary of the Board.
Kent belongs to a number of professional and local associations. He is a member of the Kanabec County Farm Bureau, the Minnesota Milk Producers and the National Milk Producers Federation. He is a member of the Grace Lutheran Church and has been a 4-H member and supporter. Kent’s interests include singing, fishing and traveling.
