Kanabec Hospital Breaks Ground on New Clinic in Pine City

The ground breaking of the new Kanabec Hospital Pine City Outpatient Clinic located at 1425 Main Street North, Pine City, MN took place Tuesday, August 10th, 2010. This new clinic facility represents the Hospital’s commitment to provide the highest quality of care to the Pine City community. The new clinic facility is forecasted to be complete in January of 2011.

Hospital to Build New Clinic in Pine City

 Kanabec Hospital is dedicated to the health and wellness of its communities. In keeping with this commitment, Kanabec Hospital Board members have made a decision to build a new clinic in the Pine City community.

Stroke Awareness

About 795,000 Americans will suffer a stroke this year, yet most Americans cannot identify stroke symptoms or risk factors. Many strokes – some studies indicate that up to 80 percent – can be prevented through risk factor management.  The month of May marks National Stroke Awareness Month annually and in keeping with this theme, Kanabec Hospital is placing an increased focus on education and awareness about stroke.

Kanabec Hospital receives ‘Excellence in Birth Registration Award’

Kanabec Hospital has received “Excellence in Birth Registration” award from the Office of the State Registrar in the Minnesota Department of Health. The award was presented on April 30, 2010, at the third annual “Excellence in Birth Registration” training conference in St. Paul. The awards recognize hospitals for accurate and timely birth registration.
